Hi there my dear friends, it’s Michel here! 
Ever wanted to make your own Christmas-style patterns, but with a modern, stylish twist? Wouter challenged me to create Christmas patterns, but asked me to drop all the typical, cliché figurative elements. So no Santa, no reindeer, no mistletoe, no Christmas bells—nothing too obvious!
I just hit the record button on my camera, started playing some Christmas music, grabbed some coffee and started designing! I also shared tips on how to achieve this look—like finding the right shapes and colors, on creating patterns and then repatterining them, and even fine-tuning your export settings. This challenge really pushed me, but I had a great time creating these Christmas patterns!
