Hi @Veronica_S.
It’s fairly simple really. Your choose of reference image needs to have straight lines in it. Horizontal or vertical lines. Assisted by using the ‘Tapestry’ tiling. Hopefully that helps.

ahhh thank you, I’ve tried it with line but they weren’t perfectly straight but i will give it a try. I appreciate your help
No worries. Welcome. I usually use vector based references that have long enough lines within it. That usually works for me.
Ashantilly Blue is a collection of patterns created from a photo I took of a blue and white display in a shop window. The patterns range from complex to simple to allow them to be combined without being overwhelming. I choose blue and white for this collection since it is popular with most folks.

Hi all, this following pattern was created from a digital drawing as the source and hope u all will like it. Thanks

Hectic Geometric is a collection of designs by B. Pritchard that combines geometric shapes in a symphony of vibrant colours. Purple, orange, blues and black hues take centre stage, accentuating the fun patterns found in each piece. The combination of these bold colours creates a visually striking contrast against the clean lines and precise angles of the geometric forms.
In this collection the chaotic beauty found in the interplay of shapes. The designs feature an intricate arrangement of triangles, squares, circles, and hexagons, all jostling for attention on the canvas. The use of purple adds an air of mystery and elegance, while orange injects a burst of warmth and energy. Blue adds a sense of calm and depth, while black provides a solid foundation, grounding the overall composition. Hence the Name Hectic Geometric
Here is my collection, Fun with Glitter. The patterns are from a digital painting I did of my cat Styxx. He is wearing my big glittery blue glasses from 1990.
All of these patterns are derived from my own original mixed media drawing. Much of my artwork is inspired by music festival culture.
So, thinking this is where I upload my entry…
I have called mine Spring Passion, as I love the pretty colors that herald the arrival of Spring. Soft pinks & greens, lemon & yellow. There are so many colors to choose from & Repper gets you completely hooked.
This collection is called Lotus Flower Mix because the original image was of lotus flowers on papyrus. (It is not intended for PoD, just playing around as a newbie with different kinds of image sources.)
The “Red Lace Collection” was created from an image of a single, knotted, red shoe-type lace with a blue background. Please enjoy this tiny sampling selected from the hundreds of patterns created from that single image. Thank you, Michel, Wouter, and the rest of the Repper Team, for this opportunity to showcase our work!
Hi, I’ve created a watercolor image that I used to generate these patterns.
Hm. I’ve got a message saying that I - as a new member - can put only one image so no mockup for now :).
Hi, I’m Nadia and I love that Repper has launched this competition! I’ve really enjoyed seeing all of the entries so far.
My entry is called ‘A Nautical Day’, a jaunty mix of red, blue, pink, and off-white that plays on the quintessential marine look. It takes the classic sailor stripes and nautical chains to new dimensions, contrasting sharp edges with soft curves. All patterns were created with the same self-made design of three simple circles and half-circles.
This was a fun challenge and experience!
I formed a Collection around my Metamorphosis design made a while ago. I made my source image of colorful triangles and squares on my iPad in Procreate.
I wanted the Secondary and Blender patterns to dance around the Hero and compliment each other.
Mix and match, make them look cohesive and good together as well as standing alone.
A bold and happy color splash pared with geometric shapes and straight lines -
CHAOS AND STRUCTURE!
